ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Project Engineer, you will have a broad and varied role in our client's project organization, where you support the contracts with financial monitoring, analyze cost estimates, and work towards good cost control. You contribute to the project's financial success by working with forecasts, key figures, and actively participating in the project's purchasing and risk management related to finance.

A large part of the work takes place on-site in the project, where you participate in construction and supplier meetings, thus gaining a deep understanding of the operations. The role involves close collaboration both internally with the client and their suppliers' project organization, providing you with many points of contact and a dynamic everyday life.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Financial monitoring and analysis of cost estimates
Working with forecasts, key figures, and risk management related to finance
Active participation in purchasing work and contract monitoring (e.g., ongoing billing/open books)
Participate in construction and supplier meetings

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Have a university degree with a technical or economic focus of at least 180 credits (120 points) or education and experience that can be assessed as equivalent. Attach your diploma with your application.
Have a background in finance from either studies or previous work.
Have experience in project work within the construction and civil engineering industry.
Have very good knowledge of Excel and the Office suite.
Are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as both languages are used daily.

It is an advantage if you have

A driver's license (facilitates visits to different project offices).
Experience with systems such as C7, CDI, Agresso/UNIT7, or LIME.
Experience in following up large financial flows.
Experience in contract monitoring (e.g., as a construction engineer, project engineer, or similar).
Knowledge of financial monitoring with 'open books'.
